Poker Stars has just announced the schedule for the third Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) having five stops in all.  We start off in August in Macau and ends in Sydney Australia in December.  The other stops along the way include South Korea, New Zealand and the Philippines.

Satellites for the series opener in Macau has already begun at Poker Stars giving players an opportunity to enter at a small cost.

2009 APPT schedule (season 3):

• Aug 24 – 30, APPT Macau, China $5,160
• Sept 17 – 20, APPT Seoul, South Korea, $3,000
• Oct 14 – 18, APPT Auckland, New Zealand Buy in TBA
• Nov 12 – 15, APPT Philippines, US $2,150
• Dec 1 – 6, APPT Sydney, Australia, US $4,920
