EPT
Wednesday, July 29, 2009 | Francis Lee
The first scheduled stop for the forth coming European Poker Tour (EPT) has now been switched from being in Moscow Russia over to Kiev in the Ukraine. The event has now been renamed the EPT Kiev Sports Poker Championship from the EPT Russia Open and will run on the same date‘s from 18th - 23rd August 2009.
The switch was caused by a recent change in the Russian laws regarding poker making the event impossible to go ahead. Any player who has won a seat to the EPT Russia event at Poker Stars will have the option to take a seat in Kiev, partake in any other EPT event this season or to receive a full refund equivalent to the cash prize.
There is still time to win a seat to the EPT Kiev event through the satellites currently running at Poker Stars
