The first half of the sixth Poker Stars European Poker Tour (EPT) schedule has just been announced. There will now be 13 stops on the tour in total, four more than last year. Two of the new venue’s include Moscow, Russia which will be the first stop on the tour and Vilamoura in Portugal.
Organizers have also stated they intend to extend the festival dates at each stop to include high roller tournaments and other side events. Over $77 million was paid out to participants last season, the expected payout figure this season is expected to exceed this amount with the ever growing popularity of the EPT.
Satellites to the first stop in Moscow have already begun on Poker stars giving players an opportunity to win a seat for a little as a couple of dollars. The rest of the tour dates and locations will be announced at a later date.
