July is a busy month in the Live US Poker Tournament scene especially with most of the focus being on the conclusion to the 2009 World Series of Poker, there are many events starting right across America.
The Bellagio in Las Vegas plays host to the WPT 2009 Bellagio Cup. The series starts on the 1st July holding 12 events until the 16th July. The WPT championship event starts on the 13th July lasting for five days. The 2009 Stars and Stripes series starts at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, CA hosting 15 events from the 2nd – 19th July. The Bicycle will also host the 2009 Legends of Poker Series towards the end of the month and this series will run right through to the end of August.
Half way through the month over at the Hustler Casino in Gardena, CA the 2009 Larry Flynt’s Grand Slam of Poker begins holding 12 events from the 16th – 27th July. The 2009 Summer Showdown will run for the last two weeks of July in Uncasville, Conneticut as well as the 2009 Summer Pot of Gold in Reno, NV.
Live Poker Tournaments – Rest of the World
On the 21st July the Poker Stars ANZPT makes its stop in the Sky City Casino in Queenstown, New Zealand. The $1,648 buy in tournament will run for five days finishing on the 25th July.
