UK + European Live Poker Tournament Watch - May 2009

UK Live Poker Tournaments May 09
The start of May will see quite a few poker events commencing in the UK live poker scene, with the monthly Dusk Till Dawn Deep stack events starting on the 2nd May. The London Poker Circuit moves onto the Kings Hall Hotel from the 4th - 10th May. Starting at the same time will be the Spring Festival at the Gala Leo Casino in Liverpool holding four tournaments from the 6th - 10th May. Over in Dublin Ireland the JP Poker Masters will run from the 7th - 10th May having five tournaments with the main event being a €750 buy in 3 day tournament.
We will return to London for the Vegas Warm Up festival being held at the Sportsman Casino. There will be four events held from the 11th - 17th May with the feature event being the £1.000 four day main event. The British Masters Poker Tour will be at the Gala Maybury casino in Edinburgh, Scotland from the 15th - 17th May. Finally the fifth leg of the GUKPT will make its stop at the Grosvenor Casino in Newcastle Upon Tyne for its four day £1,000 buy in tournament starting on the 21st May.
European Live Poker Tournaments May 09
We start off in Paris for the live European poker tournaments with the Rendez Vous A Paris at the elegant Aviation Club de France. This festival will run from the 1st May right through to the 17th May with the four day main event being the €10,000 buy in Grand Prix De Paris.
The Olympic Open Championships will be held through out May with four festivals running across Europe. We will start off in Tallinn, Estonia from the 4th - 9th May, then over to Riga in Latvia from the 11th - 16th May. Vilnuis in Lithuania will host the third festival from the 18th - 23rd May and finally the last leg will be held in Poland, Warsaw from the 25th - 30th May. Each festival will host 6 different events with the main event being a 2 day €1,000 buy in tournament.
The WPT will venture across to Italy this month to hold the WPT Venice event which will be a €4,000 buy in tournament which will run from the 6th - 10th May.
