WPT Schedule Announced for Season Six

Season six of the Official World Poker Tour the popular televised poker show was announced today by WPT Enterprises. 19 venues in total with some new additions to the Tour were added, and some events taken off. The first tournament kicks off at The Mirage in Las Vegas on May 14^th finishing off at Bellagio on April 25^th 2008.

Unfortunately there will be no WPT tournament in France this season, the WPT organisers were unable to get round the new gaming regulations in France with regards to televising the event, like in January when the poker stars announced the cancellation of their European Poker Tour event in Deauville for the same reasons.We will see new venues holding WPT events such as Barcelona Spain, the prestigious Beau Rivage, part of the MGM family in Biloxi Mississippi, Caribbean’s Turks and Caicos Islands. With also themed events and the annual ladies-only event, Ladies Night V.
