Event 31 - $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.
James Van Alstyne is starting to make a name for himself as a great mixed game player as for the second time in a week, he managed to make it to the heads up showdown playing H.O.R.S.E. He came out second best in event 21 beaten by Zac Fellows when having a chip lead but this time he was not to be denied his first WSOP bracelet.

Event 32 - $2,000 No Limit Hold’em
Angel Guillen became another player who was runner up in a previous event, to come back and win a bracelet this year in event 32. He outlasted 1,533 players and overcame an epic five hour heads up battle against Mika Paasonen taking home over half a million dollars in prize money.

Event 33 - $10,000 World Championship Limit Hold’em
Greg Mueller became the 2009 Limit Hold’em champion in event 33 in an eventful final table. Every one had the chip lead at some point but Mueller picked his moments very well and deserved the gold bracelet.

After cashing five times in this years WSOP Eric Baldwin managed to win his first bracelet cashing for the sixth time. A large filed of 2,095 entrants started out but Baldwin outlasted the lot to pick up the top prize.

Event 35 - $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha
Richard Austin took down event 35 in dramatic style by eliminating both Sorel Mizzi and Cliff Josephy on the same hand. Mizzi held pocket Aces in his hand after the flop but was behind Josephy with a set of Kings. Austin had a flush and straight draw and either one would be good enough to win the event. Sure enough the flush hit on the river handing Austin his very first WSOP bracelet.
