This weekend was a good one for Poker Stars Sunday Million who were still riding on the success wave of last week, when they doubled their guarantee. Bodog however dropped in its number of entrants in comparison to last week, and spent more on an overlay than the amount the first place prize winner took home. The weekend was most successful for Full Tilt who are on their second week without overlays, this time for the $1 million guarantee. The richest winner also went home with the $219,773 first place prize.

Poker Stars Sunday Million

Last Sunday, Poker Stars made it big by doubling its guarantee, creating one of the largest poker pots for its weekend tourneys. This weekend things went back to normal and the Poker Stars Sunday Million tournament had its usual guarantee but an above average amount of player traffic, still giddy from the excitement of last weeks bonanza pot. A total of 8,589 entrants started out, which worked up to a generous prize pool of $1,717,800. This resulted in a prize amount of $210,000 for the final winner, provided the pot was not split.

The final table saw a contest between SAM66 and Shantaram who had already raked in six-figure prizes and were trying for the final amount. The first place prize marked a difference of $70,000 in payouts between the first place winner and the second. Ultimately it was SAM66 who was the last man standing and the lucky winner of the weekend who won an amount of $209,572.

The final results:

  • SAM66 — $209,572
  • Shantaram — $141,719
  • MrMuck1976 — $95,338
  • rubenrtv — $77,301
  • pepperdiablo — $60,123
  • my_emolument — $42,945
  • moorten — $30,062
  • Axinar — $19,755
  • Cjh1224 — $13,399

Full Tilt $1 Million Guaranteed

Full Tilt also seems to be rising on a success wave and enjoyed another week without overlays. This weekend marked a successful Full Tilt $1 million guaranteed tourney, which pulled in a total of 2,396 players, all buying in for $500. This secured a total prize pool of $1,198,000, resulting in a first place prize set at $220,000.

The final results:

  • GulahPapyrus — $219,773
  • Alex “AJKHoosier1” Kamberis — $134,895
  • hurikane3 — $88,293
  • Kevin “A__theKevlar__2” Schulz — $70,442
  • SitAndStack — $53,311
  • Chipleader56 — $38,336
  • Nom Sayin — $28,153
  • acatlover — $22,043
  • ILIKEPONIES — $16,772

Bodog $100,000 Guaranteed

Bodog saw a slight drop in attendance this week and had to chalk out a little more than its usual overlay. This week Bodog payed out a generous $24,700, which turned out to be even more than the first place prize amount, which was $23,600.

The final three places was between Dippydough, 35thcorvette and Jray87, but when Jray87 dropped out early taking in $9,100, it was down to the final two.

Eventually dippydough turned out to be the better player when he raked in the first place prize.

The final results:

  • dippydough — $23,600
  • 35thcorvette — $13,600
  • Jray87 — $9,100
  • azn_synergy — $7,000
  • Shawn “Ragaboo” Green — $5,700
  • escape222 — $4,500
  • pkb6786 — $3,300
  • Homer_Jay — $2,200

Take your seat at one of the weekend’s big tournaments by signing up at Pokerstars , Full Tilt Poker or Bodog and you could be the one winning the first place prizes next week. Regular weekly satellites run to these tournaments, so you can win your seat just a few dollars.
