Poker Stars Million
This weeks Poker Stars Million event attracted 7,594 entrants which generated a total prize pool of $1,518,800. This was the biggest prize pool of any of the big Online Poker Tournaments this weekend The first place prize everyone was fighting for was set at $227,820 and the rest of the prize pool was to be paid down to 1080th place. The field was packed full of poker pro’s of which the best finishers were UcfChamp in 21st, horryclutch in 47th and mattutaylor in 48th place.
When the final table stage was reached antesvante held the chip lead on over 15 million in chips, just ahead of his nearest rival strip23 on 14 million. It was these two players along with maxpudim who made it to three handed play when a deal was struck to share the money. Antesvante guaranteed himself the most money being ahead in the chip lead collecting $183,459.50, strip23 had $20,000 less than antesvante and maxpudim took $20,000 less than strips23. As per Poker Stars rules $30,000 was left for the eventual winner.

The $750,000 Guaranteed event at Full Tilt Poker took in 3,492 players all trying to win the $132,787 fist place prize. It was Tom Brand who plays under alias titantom32 who lead the field right down to the final table stage of the tournament. He managed to get to heads up with dajatt13 but lost out in the end as his pocket nines were beaten by
