Poker Stars Sunday Million

6266 players entered this week’s big online poker event at Poker Stars which created a total prize pool $1,253,200. Nine hundred players made the money in this event with 1st place prize set at $180,210.

This was a very fast paced table and it didn’t take very long to complete. Jamb0ne and chris935 were the early chip leaders at the start of play with the rest of the chips quite evenly spread. After the shortest stacks had gone in the first few rounds the 2 chip leaders tangled in a huge pot. Jamb0ne moved All In with pocket Kings and chris935 called with :ad :10c Jamb0ne was looking likely to take down the pot after the first four cards came down :7h :9c :7d :qh but chris935 rivered an Ace with the :as coming down to send Jamb0ne to the rail.

Chris went on to eliminate Kelvan and Wildman75 into 3rd and 4th place to set up the heads up showdown with Volcano360. Chris had the advantage having $46.6 million in chips compared to his opponents $16.6 million chip stack.

Despite this deficit Volcano360 came back at chris935 to win the event. The final had came when all the money went in pre flop with Volcano360 holding pocket Sevens up against chris935 with :as :10d The pocket pair held up with the final board coming down :2d :qd :jd :2c :8h to hand Volcano360 the top prize.

The big online poker event this week at Full Tilt was the $500,000 Guaranteed tournament. 3048 players started out which boosted the guarantee to $609,600. 459 players made the money and 1st place prize was set at $109,148.

Scatterbrain123 held a narrow chip lead going into the final table stage of the tournament, which stood him in good stead making the heads up showdown. The man on a mission and the eventual winner pleace, dominated the table throughout, he eliminated 6 players of the 8 opponents on this table including scatterbrain123 in heads up. A well deserved victory handing him $109,148 first place prize.

1658 players entered the $300,000 Guaranteed event at Party Poker this week end which beat the guaranteed amount by $31,600. 250 players made the money and first place prize was set at $64,662.

The final table in this event was finished off quickly as most of the short stacks were eliminated early on, and after lengthy discussions the final three players split the pot with gotthismoney coming out the overall winner.
