There was good turn out in all the Sunday poker tournaments this week. Steven UFman2 Burkholder defeated 3837 rivals and took home a hefty prize of $135,903.58 in the Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee Tournament. There were 627 poker players who entered in Bodog Poker’s Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed online poker tournament, and the winner was Rimeh, who earned $23,600.

Full Tilt $750,000 Guaranteed

At the Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee this weekend, there were 3838 entrants who were in eager competition for a $767,600 prize pool. Online poker players smitty2217, Eric “blizair” Blair, RAMALHO, UFman2 Antoshka, yan09, UtahTom, pretzychulo and HaCeKoMoE666 made it to the final table, and UFman2, Antoshka and yan09 took home the first, second and third prizes respectively. UFman2’s winnings of $135,903.58 were followed by Antoshka’s $82,133.20 and yan09’s $53,732.

The games were exciting, with a whole lot of players getting eliminated at the 40,000 / 80,000 / 10,000 stage. Antoshka eliminated RAMALHO with a third queen on the flop. UFman2 ousted pretzychulo in the hand just after this. The next to leave the fight for first place was HaCeKoMoE666, defeated by Eric “blizair” Blair. When the blinds reached 50,000 / 100,000 with a 10,000 ante, UFman2 got smitty2217 out of the game, then UtahTom, Eric Blair, who was eliminated at fourth place when the blinds were at 60,000 / 120,000 with an ante of 15,000, and finally yan09, which left him playing against Antoshka on heads up play. When heads up play began, UFman2 had 8,879,640 chips while Antoshka had 2,634,360 chips. UFman2’s luck held, and he defeated Antoshka to win the Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee Tournament.

Bodog Poker Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed

A lot of well known players came out for the Bodog Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed tournament this Sunday, two of whom – John ‘Stickyman’ Stewart and Eric ‘Rizen’ Lynch - made it to the final table. Neither of them made it to first place, though - Stewart finished fifth with $5,700 and Lynch was eliminated at ninth place with $1,300. It was Rimeh who was celebrating at the end of the tournament, with a first place win of $23,600 in the Bodog Sunday $100 K Guaranteed.
This Sunday, the tournament had 627 players vying for the jackpot, a better reponse than last weekend when there were only 558 entrants. This weekend, there was and overlay of $37,300. It was Remih who finished first place and baseline21 came in second place who reaped the benefits of the overlay as they fought for first place. Bseline21 won $13,600, while Remih took home $23,600.
