This weekend’s important tournaments were a little different with Full Tilt running the full Tilt Poker $1 million Guarantee instead of the usual Sunday $750,000 Guarantee. PokerStars held the Sunday Warm-Up instead of the Sunday Million. So despite the excitement over the World Championship of Online Poker, there was plenty of weekend action. The Bodog $100,000 Guaranteed did not escape the overlay this week as well and had to dish out a very generous $38,000 overlay, that was around $10,000 more than the amount the first place winner took home that night.
Full Tilt $1 Million Guarantee
At Full Tilt Poker’s $1 million Guarantee tournament, an event which is held four times a year, there were 2,239 players eager to get in on the $500 buy-in. Final table players LIAMWAIN, OneEyedWilly, fyrtuk, All Golfer, Pjer, spazsoldier, JOHNCL, bobeads and DMill90 were all aiming for a prize pool of $1,116,500. In the end, it was OneEyedWilly, who seemed to be able to see well enough to win! Following OneEyedWilly’s haul of $205,372.28 was All Golfer in second place with a prize of $126,055.70 and spazsoldier, who took home $82,507.15 in third.

PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up
There were 2,286 participants in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-up, the tournament which was held in place of the PokerStars Sunday Million. Ghoost1 defeated natseet, MacChuck and all the other players at the final table to win $74,066.40. Eventually, natseet in second place earned $53,721.00, MacChuck won the third place prize of $37,947.60, DHUSTLER15 won $25,603.20, GIGILUCA made $21,031.20, domingo32 won $16,459.20, Ubsolute took home $11,887.20, while fridhem and Normalforce walked away with $8,229.60 and $4,938.48 respectively.

Bodog $100,000 Guaranteed
This week’s $100,000 Guaranteed Poker Tournament at Bodog attracted only 620 participants for the $100 buy in. This week the Bodog had to pay up in big numbers and dished out an overlay of $38,000. Eventually, the players at the final table were Connman23, grandmabodog, Yardmaster, 35thcorvette, quietwinner, Justin58, Uwillbepunked, A49ERGIANT and chappie21. As the play went on the number of players at the final table lessened until finally it was a showdown between Yardmaster, grandmabodog and quietwinner. Yardmaster proved to be a master of poker and went home richer than he had arrived, walking away with a prize of $23,600. Grandmabodog finished in second place with $13,600 and quietwinner did just that, coming in at third place with $9,100.Final Results
